Up to $1,000, Annually

The duties of the Armed Security Guard include:

• Provide courteous timely service continuously while maintaining control of all personnel and vehicles entering the installation.
• Control all personnel and vehicles departing the installation.
• Conduct inspections of vehicles at the designated vehicle inspection point.
• Perform individual identification checks.
• Issue visitor passes at the main entry gate/entrance foyer.
• Direct traffic at access control points.
• Perform emergency procedures for gate closure.

• Full Time, Monday-Friday 2 pm -10 pm
• Part Time, Saturday and Sunday Only, 4 am-12 pm, 6 am- 2 pm, and 2 pm- 10 pm

Camp Frettered, Reisterstown, MD

• Full Time, Wednesday - Saturday, 2 pm- 10 pm
• Part Time, Sunday - Thursday, 2 pm- 10 pm

Havre de Grace, Havre de Grace, MD

• Full Time, Monday, Tuesday, Saturday, Sunday, 6 am- 2 pm
• Part Time, Saturday and Sunday 2 pm - 10 pm, Overnight, 10 pm -6 am

Qualifications:

• Must be a citizen of the United States.
• Must have two years of armed security guard experience.
• Must meet training requirements for State-level armed security guards in the State of Maryland.
• Possess knowledge of procedures and experience with the use of wire and radio communications.
• Be proficient in English the language (i.e. read, write, speak).
• Must have the ability to write incident reports and statements.
• Possess a valid Maryland Armed Guard License.
• Possess a valid Maryland State weapons permit.
• Possess a current Red Cross or other CPR/First Aid/AED certification.
• Possess a valid driver’s license.
• Be at least twenty-one (21) years of age.
• Possess a High School Diploma or equivalent (GED).
• Must pass a physical examination; be able to lift to fifty (50) pounds, endure frequent and prolonged walking, standing, sitting, stooping, climbing, crawling, jumping, occasional running or sprinting.
• Must pass pre-employment drug screening and background check.
• Be trained in the use of Baton and Pepper Spray.
