A private homebuilder is looking for an architectural project coordinator to join their team. This large, private, multi-state homebuilder is locked in focus on active adult homebuilding. They have won awards for green construction, keen design and best overall communities within their markets.

This work environment is fast-paced, growth-focused, and dynamic team environment with multiple priorities, stringent accuracy requirements and strict time management.

Responsibilities:

  • Daily/weekly tracking of all projects, tasks, schedules, tables and tabs on the Architecture Project Schedule
  • Ensure that all architectural, engineering and in some cases truss and mechanical drawings are prepared by professional consultants
  • Coordinate Welcome Center lots and any other lot requests such as: model lots, Sales Center lots, Construction Office lots, Design Studio lots and Customer Care Center lots
  • Act as a supportive role for the community personnel such as Permit Coordinators
  • Maintain all master plan files following Architecture file processes
  • Maintain all construction documents and standard details to ensure there are no design errors
  • Work with all departments such as Purchasing, Construction, Marketing, Closing and Sales for any requests bestowed upon Architecture
  • Identify problems related to Architecture, Construction and Permitting
  • Recommend ideas and solutions to problems related to Architecture, Construction and Permitting
  • Interpret plans and communicate direction
  • Administrative tasks related to your projects such as work orders, invoices, budgets and analyses
  • Occasional travel to and from sites and out of state travel

Education Requirement:

  • Bachelor’s Degree in a related field strongly preferred. 1 year of work experience may substitute for 1 year of the required education up to a maximum of four years substitution
  • Where substitution is accepted, applicant must demonstrate increased knowledge-base and progressively more challenging work assignments

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $60,000.00 - $70,000.00 per year
