"No Aquatic experience required, but interested in a job in recreation and programming or looking for that first management job in the recreation field? Then this is the job for you. All Aquatic certifications can be completed upon hire. "Plan, develop, and oversee the activities of the aquatics programs as well as the supervised aquatics program staff, ensuring that the mission of The Salvation Army is a top priority in all areas and activities. Ensure that the aquatic programs are in compliance with established departmental policies and procedures. Ensure maintenance is scheduled for aquatics equipment including the pool, slide, splash park, and pool decks. Work closely with the Program Director in developing programs for the TSARJKCCC based upon ongoing needs assessment and business plan.
Create schedules and concepts for programs on a timely basis for use in marketing and distribution.
Create the event and program schedule to be included in program guide.
Supervise employees, volunteers, and participants.
Recruit, hire, train, schedule, evaluate, and directly supervise aquatics staff. Maintain detailed records of proper certification of staff.
