Antenna/RF Systems Engineer

Location: Nellis AFB in Las Vegas, NV

Minimum Clearance Required: Top Secret/SCI

Travel Requirement: 10%

As an Antenna/RF Systems Engineer, you will be responsible for monitoring the Antenna/RF systems and infrastructure, oversee hardware and software systems installation, configuration, testing and maintenance, identify, and recommend repairs as needed. Your technical competency will help ensure the highest levels of availability, performance and security.

Who You Are and What You Need:

• Bachelor's degree or higher level of education degree in Electrical Engineering, Engineer related or Physics discipline.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as a Systems Engineer or similar position
• Previous experience using C++, MATLAB, Python, or other highly technical languages
• Previous experience using applied electromagnetics and/or aircraft survivability; or comprehensive understanding of EM energy transmission through space and within material

What You Will Do:

• Create test plans to qualify and quantify different modulation schemes as required depending on the wireless communication system being implemented
• Study new system level features and working closely with engineers to come up with comprehensive test strategies to evaluate them
• Make recommendations to cross-functional teams on resolving wireless system issues including but not limiting to baseband algorithms and RF/Antenna systems
• Create and execute detailed test plans for antenna performance evaluation
