Madden Industrial Craftsmen is looking for a ANODIZING OPERATOR for a client in Phoenix. This is a temp-to-hire position with hours from 2:30pm-11pm.

ANODIZING OPERATOR RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Set-up, maintain and operate various electroplate equipment to plate a variety of parts and materials to required thicknesses in specified areas.
  • Maintains attentiveness to process details and equipment (i.e. timers, temperature controllers and indicators, rectifier amp and volt meters, and other associated equipment)
  • Use of various measuring tools and gauges such as dial bore, indicator, snap, and go no-go gage, micrometers, calipers, scales, and plating thickness instruments to measure part and test panels.
  • Maintain all required logs, documents, and records as required by process controls.
  • Performs other miscellaneous job duties and related functions as needed.

ANODIZING OPERATOR REQUIREMENTS

  • Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
  • Preferred ability in reading blueprint specifications.
  • Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure, using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
  • Five or more year(s) experience as a electroplater in the aerospace & defense industry.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $17.00 - $20.00 per hour
