Animal Care Technician Job at Valley View Ranch and Kennel LLC
Well established pet boarding facility seeking hard working individual for part-time (long-term, permanent) position. We are looking for someone to work approximately 20 hours per week. Must be available to work all major holidays, some weekends and have reliable transportation.
Job duties include:
Animal care (feed, clean, provide comfort, etc.)
Daily cleaning (sweeping, mopping, laundry, dishes, wiping down surfaces, raking, yard and kennel clean up)
Multi-tasking
Detail oriented is essential
Answering phones
Customer service
Light office work
This is a very physical job and you will get dirty. Some duties will require you to spend time working outdoors. At times our boarders can be loud, messy and will jump on you. They are excited to see you, so a calm, caring, patient demeanor is a must and confidence working with all breeds and sizes is required.
The Ideal Individual will be compassionate, patient, RELIABLE, organized, willing to work hard with a positive attitude, have some understanding of animal behavior, possess excellent customer service skills and, pay close attention to detail and of course, love working with animals.
