Job Summary and Opportunity:
We are looking for an experienced Analyst to join our PMO team who has solid knowledge of the Tableau reporting tool. The Analyst’s key responsibilities include performing data analysis and executive reporting related to projects, maintaining and administering the Planview Daptiv Project Portfolio tool, and supporting the project managers/scrum masters with reporting support as needed. A successful Analyst should be able to interpret and derive insights from large amounts of data that support and guide optimal project performance. He/she should be meticulous when it comes to preparing documentation and reports. This position will be on-site, located at our HQ in San Diego, California, or office in Las Vegas, Nevada.
Responsibilities:
  • Research, monitor, and analyze project data in Daptiv and Azure DevOps (formerly Team Foundation Server/TFS) to produce thorough and accurate reporting using Tableau for Executive, Finance, and BU leaders across multiple departments
  • Maintain and administer the Daptiv tool
  • Create training materials and documentation for Daptiv
  • Review and resolve data discrepancies in Daptiv and Azure Dev Ops
  • Create quarterly MAP (Management Accountability Packages) reports and other reports for the Board of Directors/IT Steering Committee
  • Create exception reports for resource managers for past due timesheets and ensure timesheets are approved on a timely basis
  • Prepare, review, and maintain Tableau reports in support of project managers and scrum masters as needed (e.g. budget tracking, financial forecasting, project evaluation and monitoring)
  • Write process maps and procedures for PMO as needed
  • Respond to audit requests from internal and external resources
  • Proactively identify problems and shortfalls during data analysis and reporting and recommend solutions or ideas for improvement
  • Any other responsibilities as deemed important by PMO leadership
Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in business, computer science, data analytics, systems analysis, or related field
  • 1+ year's as an IT analyst (preferably in the software development space)
  • Knowledge of all phases of the project management life cycle and software development life cycle
  • Ability to gather and analyze facts, draw conclusions, define problems and recommend solutions
  • Expert knowledge of Tableau to create multiple types of reports using Axos’ enterprise data warehouse
  • Excellent communication skills to build consensus, facilitate working sessions, and negotiate solutions and alternatives
  • Excellent written skills to prepare documentation and reports
  • Strong critical thinking, analytical, and problem-solving skills
  • Proficient knowledge of computer technology and Microsoft office applications
Preferred:
  • Experience with Azure DevOps (formerly Team Foundation Server/TFS) and Daptiv project management tool preferred

A targeted annual base salary range of USD $60,000/Yr. - USD $70,000/Yr., based on the experience, skills, and education/certification required for this position. Eligibility for a discretionary semi-annual incentive compensation plan, based upon performance, payable in cash and/or share grants (RSU’s) that may vest over time. The annual discretionary target bonus percentage is up to 20%.
