Ambulance Transport Provider Area Manager (FT) Job at Keystone Quality Transport
Help us grow! LifeStar Response is going to have a big year in 2023. We are looking to add the position of Area Manager to our operations on the Eastern Shore.
The Area Manager will be responsible for overseeing the EMS and Paratransit operations, which include but are not limited to:
- Effectively Oversee Daily operations.
- Analyze business operations to ensure resources are being utilized properly, suggest corrections and improvements where appropriate.
- Actively engage in communications with customers, community, patients, and their families.
- Establish rapport with customers to maintain accounts and seek out new business ventures when opportunities present.
- Work with the risk and safety to help reduce risk of injuries and accidents by engaging with field staff in training, remediation, and corrective action. Support a Safety Conscious Culture.
- Update and maintain computer systems used for everyday business purposes.
- Work with various other departments to increase efficiency and workflow for the betterment of the organization.
- Partner with HR regarding all employee discipline issues and assist in resolution.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Proven Experience in leading and managing multiple locations.
- Ability to lead, coach, and hold employees accountable to their position requirements, company policy/procedure and engaging in a positive/professional manner with facilities and patients.
- Skilled in utilizing databases to effectively extract and update data for business processes.
- Knowledge of building and maintaining effective scheduling process for non-exempt staff.
- Knowledge of the Non-Emergent EMS industry a PLUS!
- EMT or Paramedic Certification a Plus, but not required.
- High School Diploma/GED Required, post high school education preferred.
- Valid Driver’s License
