Job Responsibilities May Include the following:
- Assistance with toileting, bathing,dressing, and grooming
- Assistance with ambulation/safety supervision
- Facilitation of exercise and wellness programs
- Performing light housekeeping
- Planning and preparing healthy meals
- Medication reminders
- Transportation to appointments, social events, shopping, etc.
- Assistance with correspondence, phone calls
- Companionship
The best candidates will meet the following criteria:
- Have at least one year of experience caring for the elderly or the ill in a home or community setting (but we will train individuals without experience but with the right attitude)
- Have a high school diploma or the equivalent
- Be able to pass a drug test and criminal background check Possess a valid driver's license and have valid transportation
- Be able to stand for long periods of time and carry up to 35 lbs a distance of 25ft multiple times per day
- Be able to provide two professional references who can attest to character and work ethic.
