Alert-Tech Systems, Inc. is looking for a weekend shift (7am-3pm) Alarm Dispatcher for our local Central Station. We provide 24/7 alarm monitoring for fire, burglary, medical and panic alarms.

-Respond to incoming alarm signals according to documented procedures and accurately annotate each action taken for historical records. Dispatch police, fire, for alarm signals as necessary. Notify customer of alarm problems.

-Answer incoming customer, technician, and law enforcement calls and handle as applicable. Log all action taken for historical records.

-Test equipment with customer or field associate for verification of proper operation of alarm equipment.

-Monitor multiple internal electronic systems for proper operation to assure customers of continuous response to alarm activity.

-Handle customer inquiries and complaints.

-Perform basic troubleshooting of alarm systems over the phone with clients.

-Participate in associate team meetings, providing feedback to management staff.

-Portray a positive, professional attitude at all times, also providing positive encouragement to all associates resulting in teamwork.

-Perform other functions as required for successful operation of the company

-Be flexible and available to work extra hours during emergencies or as needed

-Use of good judgment and action during emergency situations

-Be available to work on-call shift

-Exceptional customer service skills are a must.

-Must be able to articulate clearly and professionally.

-Must be dependable with, reliable, and great work ethic.

-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

-Basic knowledge of computer functions.

-High School diploma or equivalent

-Some College Degree Preferred

Job Type: Part-time

Pay: $12.00 - $16.00 per hour
