The Berkeley Heights YMCA, a branch of the Summit Area YMCA (SAY), are seeking caring, creative, responsible Afterschool & Before Care staff members for the remainder of the 2023 School Year. The Before Care / After School Instructor is responsible for maintaining a fun, friendly, well-rounded, safe environment for children to safely spend their before and after school time, while providing all children with a diverse and enriching program.

The SAY provides Before care and After school programming in the local elementary schools in New Providence and Berkeley Heights as well as on site at the Berkeley Heights YMCA. Please indicate which shift(s) and site9s) you are interested in working.

This position is part time with an opportunity to work up to 25 hours each week, with an opportunity to work more hours during Holiday breaks. Wages are competitive, starting $14.13/hour, but based on experience. Benefit of employment at the Y incudes a free YMCA membership and discounts on family membership.

• Must have experiences and/or interest in working with young children.
