Responsibilities: Build and manage a high-quality client base in sales of print and digital display advertising, video ad production and hosting, and more with glossy community magazines and community newspapers in San Luis Obispo County, Santa Ynez, and Southern California.

  • Atascadero News Magazine
  • Malibu Times Magazine
  • Vino Central Coast
  • Morro Bay Life
  • Santa Ynez Valley Star Newspaper
  • Atascadero News/Paso Robles Press

Sales territory: San Luis Obispo County, specifically focused on South SLO County: SLO City, Arroyo Grande, Pismo Beach, Shell Beach, Morro Bay, Cayucos, with a minor focus in Atascadero, Templeton, and Paso Robles.

Must live in San Luis Obispo County.

Local travel to visit businesses and clients is required.

Some established accounts will be transferred to get started.

The position is $25,000 per year plus commission.

Must be motivated, and make daily phone calls and in-person visits to clients and prospects.

Personal professionalism in appearance and behavior required.

Experience in sales a must, with display advertising experience in magazines highly desirable.

The position is performance-based, with achievable goal ranges and bonus structures.

Required: communication skills, independently driven, transportation, tech-savvy, ability to meet deadlines with multiple products, ability to manage highly successful people and help them meet business goals, ambition to make $100,000/yr in 2023, team-oriented, open & honest, willingness to take correction and rejection as part of the personal growth process, attention to detail, accountability, and ownership.

Pay: $40,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
