At Turning Point of Tampa, our programs feature highly credentialed staff providing real structure, teaching clients how to practice 12-Step principles, in a residential setting where solid group counseling is the keystone. We specialize in treating Substance Abuse, Eating Disorders, and Dual Diagnosis. We are accredited by the Joint Commission and are a licensed provider of residential, PHP, and IOP programs. We strive to create a “life-like" environment, focusing on recovery through responsibility. To date, we have carried the message of recovery to over 15,000 clients.

Summary:

We are is seeking a APRN for our detoxification and residential treatment program. As an APRN at Turning Point of Tampa, you be required to coordinate services with the physicians, as well as provide client care, treatment, and services as it relates to performing History and Physical Examinations and sick visit evaluations. Experience in the psychiatric and/or addiction fields is preferred but not required. Guaranteed 12 hours per week on Monday, Wednesday, and Fridays for 4-hour shifts (hours are flexible). This position will report to the Medical Director, who is a board-certified psychiatrist. Excellent communication skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment are essential.

Qualifications:

• State of Florida APRN license in good standing
• Current professional liability insurance policy
• Experience in mental and behavioral health preferred
• Experience in addiction treatment and/or the 12-Step program preferred
• Experience with electronic medical records preferred

Job Types: Part-time, Temporary

Pay: $50.00 - $60.00 per hour
