Admissions Assistant (2nd Shift) Job at Eagleville Hospital
Eagleville Hospital is currently seeking a Full Time Admissions Assistant for our Intake & Assessments Department.
Responsibilities
- Responds to heavy volume of phone calls in a timely manner.
- Greets clients upon arrival
- Escort patients to and from the units.
- Performs a bag & person searches for new admits in accordance with the Policy & Procedure.
- Search patient’s belonging drop offs in accordance with the Hospital’s Drop Off Packet.
- Documents all patient belongings and secures them until they are transported to the unit.
- Witness urine drug screens when needed.
- Orient new patients to hospital rules and procedures.
- Conduct pre-admission telephone interview with clients seeking admission
** Hours for this position are Monday through Friday from 2:30pm - 11pm with a weekend rotation.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- 3-5 years experience in a secretarial and/or search tech position
- Good communication, organization and typing skills required.
- Customer service experience preferred
- CPR certification
