Job Duties & Responsibilities

  • Receives customer complaints and questions and resolves by providing information requested.
  • Contacts other personnel when necessary to resolve issues, such as ship dates, damaged goods from transit, or warranty.
  • Processes bills due from branch and forwards to STIHL Inc. for payment.
  • Operates computers and peripheral equipment to process data, generate reports, and maintain the data integrity of the system.
  • Observes system operation and makes adjustments as necessary.
  • Calls in additional technical support to repair or replace broken items or processes.
  • Receives callers, both in person and on the telephone, determines nature of business, and directs callers to destination as dictated by each situation.
  • Provides additional administrative support for projects, such as advertising campaigns/mailings, processing co-op claims, processing Bid Assistance claims, generating and distributing communications internally and externally.
  • Processes parts returns as well as dealer close-out returns.
  • Sets up outside meetings such as advertising meeting, technical schools, etc.
  • Provides administrative support to management team.
  • All work affecting product quality shall be competent on the basis of appropriate education, training, skills, and experience.
  • Performs additional related duties as required.

Specifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • One to three months related experience and/or training.
