Position
Whether you are a recent grad looking to jump start your career, or looking for your next growth opportunity, our Accounting team can provide you with the opportunity to grow with an industry leader. In this role, you will compile payroll data, reconcile errors, and provide excellent customer service to internal and external customers. You’ll build professional relationships, uploading a high degree of confidentiality, professionalism, and interpersonal communication skills.
This position will allow you to gain a wide variety of experiences as you continue to grow. The ideal candidate will be very organized with a high attention to detail, enjoy working through recurring daily routines and deadlines, thrive in a fast-paced environment, and be team-oriented. By doing this, you will help us stand together as we reinvent the way our world is built.

Wage: $18-20/hr DOE with potential for overtime.

Hours: Monday – Friday, 8am-12pm, occasional overtime as required.

Key Responsibilities (Essential Duties and Functions)

  • Answer and direct incoming calls.
  • Greet walk-in traffic and direct to appropriate area.
  • Receive and distribute incoming mail and all other deliveries.
  • Reconcile daily cash sales and prepare bank deposits.
  • Process deposits from on account sales.
  • Process credit card payments.
  • Maintain petty cash including control log, reconciliations, and check requests.
  • Provide customers with account information including invoice and ticket copies.
  • Observe company safety standards and maintain a safe work environment.
  • Filing, other duties and specialized projects as assigned.
  • Provide administrative support to all managers.
  • Order office supplies and keep the supply area organized.
  • Ensure that office equipment is maintained.
  • Coordinate office maintenance and janitorial staff.

Qualifications
To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Minimum Qualifications

  • High school graduate or equivalent required.
  • Excellent communication and organizational skills a must.
  • Ability to answer telephones and greet the public in a friendly and courteous manner.
  • Thorough knowledge of office practices, procedures, and equipment.
  • Knowledge of basic math skills.
  • Use of 10-key by touch.
  • Microsoft Word and Excel proficiency.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Professional ethics, tact, and courtesy in interactions with management, team members, vendors, and internal/external customers.
  • Demonstrated ability to safely plan and set work priorities in a cost-effective manner.
  • Must pass pre-employment controlled-substance testing.
  • Demonstrates the ability to work overtime as needed.
  • Must have current US Authorization to work or ability to obtain without company assistance prior to start date.

Preferred Qualifications

  • General accounting knowledge is preferred.
  • One to two years of administrative office experience.
