Posting Summary
Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey is seeking an Administrative Analyst III for Clinic Management in the Ambulatory Care Services within Rutgers Robert Wood Johnson Medical School.
The Administrative Analyst III will assist in the review, analysis and appraisal of current department administrative procedures, organization and performance and helps to prepare recommendations for changes and/or revisions; does other related work as required.

Among the key duties of this position are the following:
- Assists in reviewing department programs and activities and in evaluating their administration, objectives, efficiency, effect and suitability to current conditions, costs, and goals, using established procedures and standards.
- Appraises the adequacy and effectiveness of computer systems; assists in the development of the organizational structure an of operation necessary for the performance of existing, new, or expanded functions.
- Assists in the investigation and development of solutions to problem areas, identifies and works toward the elimination of un and/or wasteful administrative practices and positions; helps to determine where program and/or administrative duplication may exist.
- Assists in installing reporting systems for assessing work performance, including workload volume, backlog, revenues, expenditures and the preparation of function operating manuals.
- Assists in the analysis of the administrative and budget implications of legislation as required.
- Assists in the planning, developing, and conducting of analytical studies of existing operations and routines to determine feasibility for computerization and makes recommendations as needed.

Qualifications
Minimum Education and Experience
- Bachelor’s Degree plus two (2) years of responsible experience involving the review, analysis and evaluation of budgets, organizations, administrative practices, computer applications, and the recommendation of improved methods, preferably in a large business, government agency or educational institution.
- Additional related experience may be substituted for the educational requirement on a year for year basis.
Certifications/Licenses
Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
- Must be proficient in computer applications as required by the department or unit.
Preferred Qualifications
- Two (2) years or more experience with EPIC Medical Records System.
- Five (5) years or more experience with an Academic Medical Center, or graduate of a Master of Health Administration program and Certified Health Access Associate (CHAA) certification from the National Association of Health Access Management.

Under Policy 60.1.35 Immunization Policy for Rutgers Employees and Prospective Employees, Rutgers University requires all prospective employees to provide proof that they are fully vaccinated and have received a booster (where eligible) against COVID-19 prior to commencement of employment, unless the University has granted the individual a medical or religious exemption. Employees who are not eligible for a booster at the time of an offer of employment must provide proof they have received a booster upon eligibility and upload proof of same.
