Summary of Job Duties:
The University of Arkansas at Little Rock is seeking an Adjunct Faculty to teach Sports Management courses at the undergraduate/graduate level. This position will be responsible for teaching course(s) online, assessing student-submitted work, and following course objectives and syllabus prepared for the course. This position is governed by state and federal laws, and agency/institution policy.

Qualifications:
Required Education and/or Experience:
  • MS in Sport Management or a related area.

Preferred Education and/or Experience:
  • Ph.D. in Sports Management or a related area;
  • Experience teaching online.
Job Duties:
  • Teach assigned courses online;
  • Assess student-submitted work;
  • Follow course objectives and syllabus prepared for the course.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
  • Knowledge of classroom instruction;
  • Ability to manage, motivate, and evaluate a diverse population of students;
  • Collegial and cordial attitude toward interaction with colleagues, students, and staff;
  • Demonstrable content knowledge of Sport Management and closely related fields and the ties between the field and various allied disciplines;
  • Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills;
  • Self-motivated, responsible, and able to work with minimal direct supervision.
