Accounts Receivable Specialist – Hotel Lodging

Summary

Accounts Receivable Specialist is responsible for all ensuring accurate, timely invoicing and prompt payment for all hotel lodging, excluding National Guard. Reports directly to the Controller.

2.1 Essential Position Functions

· Preparation and review of hotel billing. Verify all information has been entered correctly in accounting system, reconcile credit card charges, and upload billing packets.

· Invoice clients based off billing packets in accounting system.

· Adhere to all specific requirements set by clients on invoicing & statements.

· Update tax tracker with all tax information from each individual invoice. Notify the accounting team of any changes for current tax profiles and reclass taxes as needed.

· Process and send credit card and ACH receipts.

· Update accounting system and client profile spreadsheets with any changes when notified by client/ Account Executive

· Create new credit card clients in accounting system upon completion of appropriate form. Ensure credit card policies are being met.

· All other duties as assigned.

2.2 Required Outcomes

· Have billing packets entered in accounting system and credit card tracker filled out by 12th of the following month.

· Have invoices sent out by 15th of the following month.

· Have AR statements sent out to clients weekly and inform CFO & Global Account Executive of all 31+ days past due receivables.

· Ensure all new credit card clients are being set up correctly with completed forms uploaded in accounting system for backup.

· Follow THS credit card policy as well as adhere to PCI compliance.

2.2 Minimum Position Requirements

· Education: high school diploma or GED with some college; accounting degree preferred

· Experience: Two to Four years accounting experience

· Skills: Accounting software, cost accounting, Microsoft Office, strong organizational skills, typing, and 10-key

2.4 Physical Requirements

· Prolonged periods sitting at a desk and working on a computer.

· Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at times.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $45,000.00 per year
