The Bair Foundation is looking for a Part time, Accounts Receivable Clerk with Medicaid billing experience for our National office in New Wilmington, PA.
The Bair Foundation of New Wilmington, PA, a Christian foster care agency, has a position available for a part time Accounts Receivable Clerk with Medicaid billing experience. Minimum of three years of experience with Medicaid, Managed Care, Commercial Insurance billing, electronic filing and accounts receivable follow up. Accurate data entry, excel proficiency, critical thinking and analytical skills are required. Ability to multi-task is necessary. Excellent work environment.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Transmits claims electronically to Medicaid, Managed Care Organizations and Commercial Insurance carriers and/or clearinghouses.
- Helps to manage all Medicaid, Managed Care and Commercial Insurance claims on the Accounts Receivable reports
- Work assigned denials and correspondence
- Prepare corrected claims and appeals as needed
- Handles calls as needed to the Medicaid, Managed Care and Insurance carriers
- Follow all state and federal collection and HIPPA laws
- Reconciles remittance advices and deposits from Medicaid, Managed Care, and other Insurance carriers
- Creates the electronic setups as needed in the billing software.
- Assist other Accounts Receivable Clerks and the Accounts Receivable Supervisor with Medicaid billing duties as needed.
JOB QUALIFICATIONS:
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
- Proficiency in Excel with accurate data entry
- Minimum of three years of experience with Medicaid, Managed Care, Commercial Insurance billing, electronic filing and accounts receivable
- Critical thinking and Analytical skills required
