Reporting to the Accounts Payable Manager, you will work with a team of six at The Cheesecake Factory Support Center in Calabasas Hills, CA. As the Accounts Payable Technician, you will play an integral part in creating general ledger coding and month end accounts payable entries, research and resolving of complex AP issues for internal business partners and external vendors. In addition, you would be responsible for the administration of the corporate credit card and travel program for a global $3.3 billion public company with over 300 full-service restaurants and more than 47,500 total staff members.

Responsibilities
Here’s more of what you’ll get to do:
- Audit over 70 incoming invoice batches received weekly from our restaurants. Review the batches for accuracy and ensuring each batch total correctly ties to the imported total in the system prior to releasing for payment.
- Assist with the company’s corporate card program which includes, plan and card administration for purchasing and travel cards. In addition, you'll review expense reports for adherence to policies and processing reimbursement.
- Maintain vendor and internal communication and resolve any outstanding issues in a timely manner.
- Accurately accrue invoices at month end and quarter end.
- Reconcile vendor statements and outstanding invoices, while working closely with our vendors, internal departments and our restaurants.
- Assist with special projects, as assigned.
Qualifications
What we require:
- 2+ years of Accounts Payable processing experience in a high-volume environment.
- Recent working experience using a mid to large ERP (i.e: SAP, Oracle, Infor/Lawson, MS Dynamics, Epicor, etc.)
- Strong Excel skills (v/h lookup, pivot tables, etc.)
- Able to work independently and as a team member.
- Strong verbal & written communication and time management skills.
- Able to work in a fast-paced environment with set deadlines.
- Detail-oriented and accurate.
- High School Diploma or Equivalent
