Accounts Payable Representative

ABS Kids is looking for an Accounting and Accounts Payable Specialist to ensure proper management of the Company's cash flow in collaboration with the Accounts Payable Supervisor and the Accounting Department. This full-time role will be remote, working with an awesome team!


Our Administrative Support team members play a vital role in advancing our mission to make a difference in the lives of children with autism spectrum disorder and their families. Every team member at ABS Kids is passionate about providing best in class support to our direct care providers, who in turn deliver the highest quality ABA therapy to our patients.


What would you do?


  • Works closely with A/P Supervisor
  • Support Accounts Payable processes in Sage Intacct by reviewing invoices, obtaining approvals, and coding and entering AP invoices as assigned.
  • Responds to Accounts Payable inquiries from vendors, customers, and internal users
  • Receives and verifies corporate credit card expense reports; reconciles expense and other financial reports with account balances and other office records.
  • Prior to payment of vendors, research invoices already in SAGE, review payment terms, and resolve discrepancies.
  • Sort, organize and maintain records according to the Accounting department’s filing systems

Who are we looking for?

  • Detail oriented, self-reliant, communicative & helpful team player
  • Must understand general accounting principles for Accounts Payable
  • Must be reliable and extremely trustworthy
  • Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel
  • Must have prior experience with and be able to learn new accounting software systems
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to maintain confidential and meticulous records
  • Analytical thinking
  • Ability to complete projects in a timely manner
  • Ability to communicate with various departments and level positions
  • High school diploma required; Business or Accounting degree preferred
