We are recruiting for an Accounting Technician to provide support to our Accounting team. This role will be responsible for the following support functions, but may not be limited to, applying principles of accounting to record and analyze financial information, prepare bank reconciliations, prepare financial reports, and accounts payable for CA Ventures. This position requires understanding and application of accounting procedures, the ability to analyze numbers, problem solving through analytical reasoning, and communication with other departments.

Your Mission

• Prepare and/or review monthly bank reconciliations for entities in accordance with US GAAP, ensuring all balances are reconciled properly and supporting schedules are accurate and complete.
• Collect and file support documents such as forms, invoices, checks and/or bank statements
• Use analytical skills to review data contained in designated financial records to detect trends, errors or anomalies
• Perform tasks of calculating, posting or verifying to maintain accurate financial records
• Collect and manage the allocation of global-wide expenses for CA corporate entities
• Review G/L coding and descriptions on invoices
• Adhere to policies, internal controls and ethical standards established by the department and company, and execute appropriate procedures within all areas of responsibility to support the company’s purpose and values
• Provide support with internal projects, perform duties of other Accounting Technicians (if absent) or perform other related duties, as requested

Your Track Record

• High School Diploma, GED, Trade, Technical, or vocational school is required
• Completion or pursuit of an Associate’s Degree or higher in Accounting or comparable business-related discipline is preferred
• Yardi Voyager experience preferred
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Word
