Description: Accounting Manager
Job Purpose: We are seeking a Senior Accounting Manager to join our team and provide oversight of day-to-day accounting activities and staff development. This position will be located in Chantilly, VA.
Job Duties:
- Costpoint 8.0 and Deltek TE Time and Expense
- Project and project financial reports setup
- AP vouchers and cash disbursements
- Payroll pre-processing
- Monthly financials with all related supporting schedules and account reconciliations
- Month end journal entries
- Ad hoc reports for management and operations
- Audits from government agencies including Annual Financial Review
- Bank reports and on-line banking system
- Monthly revenue recognition including invoicing and unbilled schedules
- Annual Incurred Cost Submission
Basic Qualifications:
- Bachelor's Degree in Accounting
- Minimum of 10 years
- Concentration in government contracts and cost accounting in IDIQ, CPFF, Firm-Fixed Price and T&M contracts.
- Knowledge of all modules of Costpoint 8 with the exception of Inventory.
- Understanding of FAR regulations as it pertains to transaction accounting
- Proficient in Excel, ADOBE and Microsoft Word
Preferred Qualifications:
- CPA is a plus but not required
- Personnel management experience
Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift up to 20 pounds occasionally
- Ability to bend, stoop and squat frequently
Salary Range:
- $125,000 - $155,000 depending on experience
