Bay Area company is looking to bring on an Accounting Manager for a contract position. The ideal candidate will be able to work a hybrid schedule (2-3x/week on-site) and will have both private and public company experience. Targeting $70/hour.
- You will:Prepare journal entries and account reconciliation maintaining GAAP compliance.
- Manage month-end close calendar.
- Analyze and improve internal controls.
- Partner with cross-functional groups to ensure accuracy.
- Assist with ad-hoc project.
- You have:Have experience with various ERP systems (NetSuite and SAP preferred but not required).
- Private and public company experience.
- Oversaw at least 2 people in the Accounting department.
- High level of independence.
