This role is responsible for performing manual offsets of payments received from the Wise Foods accounts and maintaining the Cash Application filing system.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

• Perform Manual offset of payment received from the Wise Foods Lock Box against the existing Accounts Receivable Detail in an accurate manner.

• Perform manual offset of payment received from the Wise Foods Local Banking accounts to include wire transfers, EFT payments, in house local deposits, ACH payments, credit card receipts, etc. against the existing Accounts Receivable detail in an accurate manner.

• Perform manual offset of statements received from Third Party accounts against the existing Accounts Receivable Detail in an accurate manner working with the assisted Collection/Deduction Analyst to insure proper final offset to its Accounts Payable account.

• Maintenance of the Cash Application filing system in the designated filing area. To include proper rotation of the batching system, numerical accuracy, proper dating, and record retention compliance.

• The provision of the appropriate back up for any and all discrepancies found during the application process to the proper Accounts Receivable Personnel assigned to the specific account.

• Delivery Document Retrieval.
• Understanding the origins of Open Delivery Invoices (Tickets) and their proper coding.

• Understanding types of invoicing, (i.e. Master, DSD, DEX, Manual and Handheld)

• Developing knowledge to search for an item which is not easily found.

QUALIFICATIONS

• Education: HS degree required, Bachelor's degree accounting desired.
• Experience: A minimum of 2 years' Accounts Receivable experience Position Requires: Knowledge of Microsoft Excel, Word, PowerPoint and Outlook
