Accounting Assistant Job at Traverse Outdoor, Inc.
Traverse Outdoor, Inc. Northern Michigan’s premier Landscape and Irrigation Contractor is looking for an Accounts Receivable/Payable Clerk to join our organization. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude and work ethic and someone who understands team dynamics. This position will be approximately 25-35 hours per week from our office located in Traverse City. The pay period is 30-35 weeks per year and is considered a seasonal position. Work days and hours can be flexible to accommodate children, school or other obligations.
Special consideration given to candidates with knowledge of Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains.
Primary Duties include:
Accounts Payable
Accounts Receivable
Cash Receipts
Invoicing
Secondary duties may include:
Clerical Duties
Answering Phones
Job Preferences:
Associate Degree in Accounting or the following prerequisites
1 year + AP/AR experience
1 year + Microsoft Dynamics Great Plains experience
1 year + cash receipts experience
Job Type: Part-time
Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour
