Summary:
The Accounting Assistant – Full time position providing administrative and accounting support to the Controller.
Key Responsibilities:
- Daily and Weekly Reconciliation of Inventory Consumption
- Codes and inputs documents into SAP ERP system according to protocol
- Records Daily Production Hrs to Production orders into SAP ERP system
- Reviews and interprets Financial & Analytical reports and makes corrections as needed.
- Creates and submits reports and data to Management on Daily Production
- Daily Coding of Expense invoices
- Provide Plant Departments with Weekly reports on current monthly expense accounts
- Backup to Issuing purchase orders and routing for approvals
- Maintains and/or reviews general ledger data prior to settlement of Month End Production
- Provides training to Leads and Supervisor on Consumption of Inventory in SAP
- Attend Weekly & Monthly meetings on Inventory Variances and Savings
- Performs other similar duties as assigned
Additional Responsibilities:
- Acquires knowledge of Trident’s Environmental and Safety Policies by completing required training programs and performing designated work activities in accordance with training and procedures/work instructions
- Notifies designated personnel of any environmental or safety incidents or risks not previously documented, in accordance with Environmental Awareness and/or safety trainings
Minimum Requirements
Minimum Qualifications
- Education and Experience: Associate degree or higher from a college or technical school, or currently senior year of College Majoring in Accounting
- Ability to read, write and comprehend English. Basic proficiency in MS office applications.
Preferred Qualifications
- Moderate to High Level of Knowledge on Excel
