OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR / BOOKKEEPER

The Office Administrator / Bookkeeper for Progressive Power Sports and Equipment will be responsible for processing sales, managing cash receipts, balancing cash drawer, making deposits posting daily to the general ledger and reconciling all general ledger accounts on a monthly basis. Other responsibilities include the setup of new/used units in the business system as well as processing invoices and other documents related to the sales and rental contracts. In addition this position will work with closely with the Corporate Accounts Payable and Receivable departments on payment of vendors and collection of open accounts. Other responsibilities include registration of sold units at the Office of Motor Vehicles, floor plan payables and managing warranty receivable accounts. This role supports month-end close by ensuring all sales have been processed, inter-company accounts are cleared and reconciled, and necessary expense accruals are made within the closing deadlines. The Office Administrator will also support the HR/Payroll function by participating in on-boarding, submitting separation notices and maintaining PTO time records and other administrative type duties.

REQUIREMENTS FOR OFFICE ADMINISTRATOR:

  • Associate degree in Accounting preferred but not required.
  • Knowledge of accounting procedures a must.
  • High level of computer proficiency use of Microsoft Excel spreadsheets required.
  • Ability to handle confidential information in a discreet, professional manner.
  • Eye for detail, accuracy is imperative.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills.
  • Excellent organizational and analytical skills.
  • High proficiency with 10-key pad and numeracy skills

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $16.00 - $21.00 per hour
