WHAT YOU’LL DO:

The objective of this role is to ensure timely and accurate adjustment processing to support optimal AR collections. The Adjustment Analyst responsibilities include but are not limited to understanding the various invoicing requirements in order to research adjustment requests and process appropriately. The AR Adjustment Analyst will support streamlining the adjustment request process and other process improvement initiatives as needed.

SUPERVISOR – Director, Accounts Receivable

ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS INCLUDE BUT ARE NOT LIMITED TO:

  • Research AR adjustment requests and process appropriately to support timely collections.
  • Facilitates and supports the implementation of action plans that are designed to reduce errors and increase quality and efficiency across Vendor AP, Billing, AR and Payroll.
  • Enter or review any adjustments or manually entered time for accuracy and corresponding back up.
  • Analyze processes, recommend improvements for same and manage all internal controls on documents related to the Adjustment process.
  • Assist AR with research and corrections of invoice discrepancies.
  • Assist in special projects and reporting.
  • Other duties as assigned.

WE’RE LOOKING FOR:

  • Possess a solid understanding of the FSS Billing and Adjustment processes.
  • Expert WF 2.0 user.
  • Understanding of ServiceCentral and/or other ticket tracking systems for dispute management.
  • Attention to Detail.
  • Work with a high sense of urgency.
  • PC Skills- demonstrates proficiency with Microsoft office products, intermediate-advanced Excel and accounting principles.
  • Problem Solving- ability to systematically find, correct issues related inquires and the ability to work with larger data sets.
  • Interpersonal Skills – able to work effectively with other employees, supervisors, and external parties.
  • Organization – capable of arranging information for the benefit of following up on action items. Ability to handle multiple priorities, work independently and meet deadlines.
  • Communication – communicates clearly and concisely both verbally and written.
  • Customer orientation – establishes and maintains long-term customer relationships building trust and respect among assigned team and superiors.
  • Demonstrates knowledge and understanding of organizational policies and procedures.

EDUCATION –Bachelor’s degree preferred; High school diploma or GED required.

EXPERIENCE – 2 - 3 years Finance Shared Services Experience, preferred.

PHYSICAL DEMANDS -

  • Requires lifting papers or boxes up to 20 pounds occasionally.
  • Requires prolonged sitting and some bending, stooping, and stretching.
  • Requires eye-hand coordination and manual dexterity sufficient to operate a keyboard, photocopier, telephone, calculator, and other office equipment.
  • Requires normal range of hearing and eyesight to record, prepare, and communicate appropriate reports.
  • Work may be stressful at times.
