Responsibilities:

• Sales growth and sales service support to OEM accounts.
• Work with other National Accounts Manager(s) in supporting and growing assigned national OEM accounts.
• Be an available resource for OEM District Sales Managers for pricing and technical information.
• Visit OEM plant and service center locations as necessary to maintain good customer relationships.
• Perform job site inspections and job site visits to support warranty and customer service requirements. Coordinate with AWIP field services to ensure accurate and complete repair and warranty service.
• Ensure excellence and professionalism in customer interactions.
• Be a subject matter expert on all products that AWIP manufactures and distributes.
• Prepare and deliver product presentations to contractors, architects and engineers.
• Read construction blueprints, drawings, plans and specifications.
• Plan, prioritize and organize travel to facilitate sales support and customer service.
• Prepare estimates and backup Vacaville estimating as necessary to support OEM sales.
• Prepare reports as directed by the VP Sales.
• Perform other job duties as assigned.

Estimating

• Supervise estimating department personnel to support OEM sales efforts.
• Conduct reviews, coaching and training of estimating department staff.
• Track OEM estimates and ensure accurate pricing and updated pricing when required.
• Prepare reports as directed by the VP Sales.

Education and Experience

• Education: Minimum of Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent sale/industry experience.
• 5 years experience in the promotion of construction or architectural product.
• Professional and polished presentation skills.
• Experience in reading construction drawings and specifications. Demonstrated aptitude will be considered in lieu of experience.
• Computer proficiency including Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook.

Additional Qualifications:

• Must possess creditworthiness and a major credit card with a sufficient limit in order to maintain monthly travel expenses until reimbursed by the company.

• Visual acuity and ability to discern color and texture.
• Ability to use a computer, keyboard, and presentation media effectively.
• Ability to stand, sit, walk, and reach with arms and hands.
• Ability to lift approximately 25 pounds.
• Ability to interact effectively with clients, vendors, employees, and other individuals.

• Employee must be able to concentrate for extended periods of time and consistently produce organized thoughts and execute sound judgment.
• Frequent travel by automobile, airplane, and other modes of public transportation are required.

Working Environment

• This position operates from both a professional office environment and a home office environment.
• Meetings with customers will take place in offices, on construction jobsites and in public environments such as coffee shops and restaurants.
• Electronic communication will take place on a company-provided laptop via e-mail and other Internet forms of communication.
• Primary phone contact will be made by company-provided mobile phone
