The Opportunity

We are looking for a forward-thinking Account Director who will directly influence our growth and help us to sign deals with the world’s largest airlines. From compelling pitch to negotiation, you will forge strong relationships with the airline’s senior management. Your goal is to champion change, to form consensus and drive your targets to a successful closing.

You can work from North America. We are a remote company, but regularly meet in person, too.

A snapshot of what you will be doing here:

  • You will proactively drive account planning, hand in hand with marketing, pre-sales and lead generation, and work with your team to prioritise present and future target airlines.

  • You will be responsible for driving airline deals in North America from the exploration phase through solution design to negotiation and successful closing.

  • You will continuously develop our value proposition through effective probing and understanding of airlines’ business needs and our competitive landscape.

  • You will be developing compelling sales pitches and materials, using your strong presentation skills to manage relationships at various stages of the sales cycle.

  • You will be building sustainable and successful stakeholders relationships by using a proactive and consultative approach.

  • You will represent cargo.one at industry and customer events, trade shows and conferences.

  • You will be managing and keeping the airline side of our CRM up to date at all times and related key account documentations (KAM, Deal Traffic Light, other).

We are looking for individuals with:

  • Approximately 6 years of experience working as an Account Executive or as Consultant (for large or enterprise accounts) in a fast growth venture backed or IPO’d B2B technology company.

  • A proven track record in account planning and account based selling and have demonstrated outstanding sales results.

  • A proven track record of building trust and strong working relationships with senior (C- and VP-level) stakeholders from ground zero.

  • You are fluent in English (C2).

  • An intuitive technological understanding and look forward to comprehensively
    understanding our product and customers needs.

  • Willingness to embrace uncertainty and display a high level of adaptability;

  • Ability to learn and be open to accepting feedback, generously giving their
    own in return.

  • You have great presentation and communication skills

  • You have had exposure to enterprise sales processes
