    About the Position
    This posting is not for a specific position with the Edmonds School District. Your application will be placed into an applicant pool for School Counselors. When filling positions, the Hiring Administrator may hire directly from this Pool or advertise individual positions. Pool applicants should also apply for individual postings.

    Required Qualifications:
    Valid Washington State Educational Staff Associate Certificate as a School Counselor.

    Salary:
    2022-23 Salary Schedule range: $73,448 through $132,346. Placement on this salary schedule is determined by FTE and official documentation verifying Educational Level and Certificated Work Experience and will be prorated for less than a full year and/or FTE.

    Benefits:
    Our benefits package includes Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package for eligible positions. Eligibility for health insurance at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a .5 FTE continuing contract position, or being hired into a non-continuing position that is anticipated to reach 630 hours during the school year. Eligibility for retirement at the time of hire is determined by holding at least a .6 FTE contract (continuing or non-continuing). Exceptions may be made for certain job share and/or leave replacement situations.
