Deere & Company is seeking a Engine Controls System Engineer in Moline, IL with the following requirements: Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or related field years related experience. Will accept any level of experience in the following skills: Design model-based engine control algorithms for Engine and Aftertreatment controls to meet engine performance and aftertreatment regulatory requirements; Develop software using Model-based software development (MBSD) in MATLAB, Simulink, and with hand code C to support virtual calibration and validation of engine systems; Design and Test embedded software using automated test practices within model in the loop (MIL), software in the loop (SIL), or hardware in the loop (HIL) environments with closed loop simulation; Implement, test, and analyze networks per CAN communications protocols and the J1939 standards; Analyze and develop high level software system requirements for a complex embedded software product mixing electrical, mechanical, and software requirements. Up to 20% international travel required. Up to 100% telecommuting permitted.
