Timber Creek Resource, LLC creates and manufactures innovative wood packaging solutions. Production begins at one of two sawmills. At other locations, our builders manufacture wood pallets, boxes, and crates from the timber produced at one of the sawmills. Overview:
The Sawmill Production Staff will be part of a team that is responsible for sorting, cutting, and processing raw logs into lumber and timber products. Logs will be loaded onto conveyor belts to be cut into various sizes and unloaded after the process is complete. This individual will also stack lumber, assist timber machinists, and assemble orders once all cutting is complete.

Essential Functions:

• Load and unload lumber from forklifts, trucks and conveyor belts.
• Conduct inspections of lumber to identify defects and indicate areas of removal.
• Sort and arrange logs according to size and wood type to allow easy identification.
• Guide log position on carriage to ensure cutting is precise and according to standards.
• Measure and indicate cutting lines on timber.
• Ensure the proper disposal of waste materials on completion of job operations.
• Adhere to all company safety policies, practices and procedures.
• Timely and regular attendance.

• At least 6 months in lumber industry or related field.
• Past experience using saws.
• Ability to lift 50 pounds.
• Ability to stand for long periods of time.
• Ability to read and interpret a tape measure.
• Basic computer skills needed to log in and out of time keeping system.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Able and willing to work in varying seasonal climate conditions.
