1on1 DSP Job at Oak-Leyden Developmental Services

Seeking a 1on1 Direct Support Professional to assist an individual in a group home (CILA) and Day Program setting. You will be assigned to assist 1 specific individual with all needs during your assigned shift.
Open Shifts:
- Berwyn- 3pm-11pm (Tues-Sat)- FT 40 hours
- Melrose Park- 4pm-11pm (Mon-Fri)- FT 35 hours
- Melrose Park 12:00pm-8:00pm (Sat-Sun)- PT 16 hours
- Oak Park- 3pm-9pm (Mon-Fri)- FT 30 Hours
Requirements and Qualifications:
- High School diploma/GED. (Must provide acceptable documents)
- Must have a valid Illinois Driver’s License, the ability to be insured under Oak-Leyden's vehicle insurance, and be willing to drive an agency vehicle.
- 2 years of DSP experience is required. (Must be on the Illinois DSP Registry).
- Ability and willingness to administer medications to participant.
- Must have ability to lift over 50 lbs, and have the ability to walk, run, climb stairs, and be able to safely ambulate throughout the entire house.
- Must be able to pass the State mandated reading comprehension test, physical with drug screen, TB test, and Criminal background checks.
- CPR/FA certification is required.

Pay: $17.00 per hour
