Zuern Building Products & Design Center is actively seeking a full time Window and Door Carpenter at our Slinger location. Zuern Building Products is a family-owned and operated building material supplier and design company. We have five expansive facilities with complete showrooms in Allenton, Cedarburg, Franklin and Watertown. Job Summary:

The Window & Door Carpenter is responsible for servicing customers by installing windows and doors.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

• Perform warranty and service work on various windows lines for all of ZBP locations
• Maintaining rapport with customers and team members by examining complaints and identifying solutions in the windows departments as well as assisting with questions regarding window, doors and parts
• Document service and installations actions by completing forms, reports, logs and records
• Perform the jambing and mulling of windows and doors
• Assist in the ordering and gathering components and parts for service work
• Screen and hardware installs along with service walk through for various windows lines
• Assist with showroom updates at all locations
• Maintain job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities for windows and door lines

Qualifications:

• Requires a High School Diploma or GED
• Must have 3+ years of experience in the building materials industry or finish trade or equivalent education, training and/or related work experience
• Requires working knowledge of power tools
• Ability to lift 50 pounds on a regular basis and 100 pounds occasionally. Physical activities that require considerable use of your arms and legs and moving of your whole body to handle, install and position material
