Zuern Building Products & Design Center is a family-owned and operated building material supplier and design company. We have five expansive facilities with complete showrooms in Allenton, Cedarburg, Franklin and Watertown. We take pride in our tradition of providing high quality building materials and valuable services to our customers.

Zuern Building Products & Design Center is currently looking for the right person to join our Cabinetry team at our Allenton location. This role offers the right candidate the potential to develop new skills with career advancement opportunities.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

This list of duties and responsibilities is not all inclusive and may be expanded to include other duties and responsibilities as management may deem necessary from time to time.

  • Creating estimates for the customer
  • Setting up job files
  • Creating purchase orders and ordering products
  • Communicating with designer and/or customer on status or orders
  • Scheduling deliveries and payment method
  • Assuming delegated administrative tasks (scheduling deliveries, entering orders) in an effective manner
  • Problem solving and handling a number of tasks with flexibility and adaptability to change based on current needs
  • Keeping literature, samples and showroom clean and up-to-date
Requirements:
  • Experience in administrative duties and cabinetry or construction experience preferred
  • High attention to details and strong organizational skills
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite - Outlook, Word, Excel
  • Mathematical skills required to add, subtract, multiply, divide
  • Great customer service skills are a must
  • Requires great oral and written communication skills in order to interact with employees and customers
  • Requires problem solving skills
  • Willingness to work with a team
