Green Forest Library hiring a Full time Bilingual, Youth Services Librarian
This person will:
· Serve the patrons at the library, especially children, in help find books and resources
· Assist with weekly storytime; read stories, sing songs, and be silly
· Plan and implement programs in for children of all ages
· Help the director in collection development for youth services
· Assist in promoting the library services and programs
· Perform general library work as needed
· Reach the Hispanic community members by translating flyers and other media
· Hosting Spanish language programs, such as storytime.
Benefits: Paid Holidays, paid Health and Dental Insurance for the employee, paid vacation. Starting pay is $13.25/hr.
Preferred requirements: Spanish/English bilingual, Associate’s degree in a child-related field, such as elementary education, or equivalent work experience, outgoing and fun personality to attract youth to the library.
