JOB SUMMARY
Provide coverage for Trainers during planned or unplanned time off in a variety of locations in the service area including Bellevue, Blair, and Council Bluffs. Supervise special education students while on the worksite and provide supplemental classroom training when appropriate.

Provide coverage for Trainers during planned or unplanned time off in a variety of locations in the service area including Bellevue, Blair, and Council Bluffs. Supervise special education students while on the worksite and provide supplemental classroom training when appropriate.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES
- Effectively manage and train special education students participating in the Work Experience program.
- Be familiar with different processes/procedures at various locations and work sites.
- Identify and create the necessary accommodations that will allow participants to complete assigned tasks.
- Maintain contact with work site supervisors to monitor participant progress in work areas and identify strengths and areas of difficulty.
- Make sound decisions in dealing with the day-to-day activities of participants.
- Ensure participants are prepared to become employed and retain employment.
- Ensure that participant records are maintained in an organized and legible manner in accordance with Goodwill policies and procedures and the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities (CARF) requirements.
- Actively maintain a safe, healthy, and positive environment that promotes the physical and emotional well-being of employees, customers, and participants.
- Other duties as assigned.
