Bach To Rock Music School in Nanuet, NY is seeking orchestral instrument music teachers teachers.
Bach to Rock offers a vibrant program of private and group lessons, rock bands and ensembles, community gigs for our student bands, musical birthday parties, music camps, and other great ways for teachers to work with students. This position offers the opportunity to work a flexible part-time schedule in a fun environment with other like-minded musicians.

Position Responsibilities:
- Teach private lessons and group classes for all ages
- Create an encouraging, fun, and focused lesson atmosphere
- Assist at school events; May also be asked to assist at off-site events
Requirements:
- Experience working with youth and/or beginning musicians strongly preferred
- Must have an advanced understanding of music theory and technique and the ability to communicate those concepts effectively to students of all ages and varying learning styles.
- Must be able to sight-read.
- Ability to interact effectively with children and adults
- Ideally must be located within a 15-mile radius from the school
- Ability to pass a background check.
