Woodlands Market, Marin and San Francisco's premier gourmet grocery store, has openings for Wine and Spirits Manager!

The ideal Wine and Spirits Manager candidate will have a genuine passion for providing amazing customer service and a wide range of wine, spirits, and beer knowledge (including local and international selections).

• Location buyer for the market ensuring selection is based on local customer demographics
• Ensure that blended margins are held to company targets.
• Ensure that inventory limits are held to company targets.
• Assist customers to determine needs and make recommendations including food and wine pairings.
• Build strong customer relationships to promote customer loyalty.
• Ensure cleanliness and organization of department at all times.
• Receive and stock product on an ongoing bases (this is a hands-on position working on the floor continuously stocking product on shelves)

Requirements:

• In depth knowledge of wine, beer and spirits (including local and international selections).
• Ability to work well independently as well as in a collaborative setting.
• Must be able to work on feet for extended period of time.
• Must be able to safely lift cases weighing 30-40lbs frequently.
