We are seeking an experienced Window and Door Service Technician to join our team in Claymont, Delaware!

AWR Commercial Window Company specializes in the repair and restoration of metal and wood windows and doors. We provide repair, preservation, and restoration services to residential, commercial, municipal, churches, cathedrals, historic, and landmark buildings throughout the United States.

Schedule: Monday – Friday; 7 AM – 3:30 PM

Pay Range: Dependent on experience.

Window and Door Service Technician Requirements:

• Experience and knowledge of window and door functions and components
• Experience and ability to properly diagnose window and door problems
• Proven mechanical skills and ability.
• Experience and knowledge of basic construction and building material and terminology of the industry
• Strong organizational skills
• Strong communication skills; clear and readable written documents, and messages
• Must be able to use basic math
• Quality conscious and detail-oriented
• Able to lift, push, and pull up to 50lbs
• Standing, bending, and repetitive motion for up to 8 hours
• Authorized to work in the United States

Window and Door Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Recognize situations that would impact customer's expectations
• Maintains a thorough knowledge of construction basics and installation
• Provide accurate measurements and documentation of job-related circumstances in a timely fashion
• Analyze customer situations, determine corrective action to be taken, communicate recommendations to the manager and complete the repair.
• Remain focused on customer’s issues and concerns; responding to requests in a thorough and timely manner.
• Complete assigned work schedules and work orders; set priorities and complete appointments with customers.
• Other related duties as assigned by management
