Home Instead provides non-medical care for seniors in their own homes. We have a couple in the Wexford area with a weekly opening 3 days per week on Thursdays, Fridays, and Saturdays from 11am-7pm. Activities include spending time cooking with them, shopping, etc. Some experience working with memory loss, dementia, or Alzheimer's Disease is preferred. There are no pets in the home. Caregivers for this client must be licensed drivers with reliable transportation and able to drive clients to appointments, etc. as needed. Ask about our Premium Pay for this job opportunity!!! Home Instead is hiring reliable caregivers with great communication skills to join our team of home care heroes in providing quality care for seniors in their own homes. Experience is a plus, but training is provided.

Primary Responsibilities may Include:

• Companionship and conversation
• Assistance with bathing, grooming, and personal care
• Assistance with mobility and transfers
• Light housekeeping tasks and meal preparation
• Medication and appointment reminders
• Alzheimer’s care, safety and cuing for tasks

Applicants Must:

• Possess a valid driver’s license and valid auto insurance and reliable vehicle.
• Complete a criminal background check, motor vehicle record check and drug screen.
• Treat seniors and their property with dignity and respect.
• Communicate with clients in a friendly and congenial manner.
• Either provide a 2 Step Tuberculosis Test from the last year or complete one coming on board with us. WE PROVIDE AS WELL!
