The Allard Center YMCA is seeking a friendly, outgoing, and knowledgeable Wellness Coach with a current personal training certification (preferred but not required) and CPR?AED certification (will provide if not current) to supervise our Wellness Center part-time during the weekend.
Primary duties include welcoming, engaging with, and providing exercise education and instruction for our members. Help others reach their fitness goals while building a sense of community in a supportive setting. Light cleaning of the equipment )free weights, cardio machines, strength equipment, etc.) and organizing duties to maintain the Wellness area. Enforcing the fitness center policies and procedures.
Work Hours/Pay Range:
- Weekend availability preferred
- Shifts available: Saturday and/or Sunday 8:00a - 12:00p/9:00a - 1:00p
- Up to $16.00/hr while working as a Wellness Coach
- Up to $20.00/hr while working as a Personal Trainer
Qualifications:
- Personal training certification preferred, though not required
- CPR/AED/First Aid certification (will provide if not current)
