Western DuPage Special Recreation Association is THE place for engaging community-based social and recreational programs for individuals of all ages with special needs. You can get paid to play!
We are currently in need of support staff to work with people with disabilities in park district recreation programs. We provide summer day camps for individuals with disabilities as well as support campers with disabilities in park district summer camps. Evening and weekend recreation programs are also available during the summer season.
We're looking for college students, teachers, paraprofessionals, retirees, or anyone over the age of 16 who has the desire to be an advocate for inclusion! No experience? No problem! We'll provide training and ongoing support. You must be eligible for part-time seasonal employment, have reliable transportation to get to and from work, and be able to perform your job duties independently of others.
