Singh Operational Services is looking for experienced Wastewater Plant OPERATORS (Circuit Riders) in Lancaster County PA, and Baltimore & Carroll counties in Maryland.

We will hire the right operator-in-training with experience, Licensed Operators are preferred and are eligible for higher rate. We are a growing company who is looking for someone that is ready to grow with us!

Job Descriptions

Plant Operator - Drinking Water & Wastewater

This Water and Wastewater Plant Operator position involves performing a variety of tasks in the operation and maintenance of the Water and Wastewater plants. Work is performed in accordance with Standard Operating Procedures (SOP's) and general guidelines under the general direction and supervision of the Superintendent and Licensed Operator to assure plant operations meets all Federal and State regulations and permit requirements.

Essential Functions:

Travel to job site. Operates treatment plants, treatment process, and related equipment and facilities in accordance with the SOP's and general guidelines of the plants to assure proper operating performance and for conditions which affect the security and continual operation. Makes process changes as authorized to ensure the proper operation and results, including shut down, start up, and adjustment to all aspects of treatment operations. Maintains accurate records on all plant operations, maintains a log of all operations, communications and process changes. Assists in facility maintenance, including calibration of equipment, collects samples and performs process related laboratory analysis. Operates computer with process control software, maintains and repairs the physical property of the plants, fills chemicals.

Must be able to respond to emergencies or alarms at their assigned sites!

Job Requirements/Qualifications:

- A minimum of 2 years of experience in wastewater operations.

- Clean Drivers record, pass pre-employment background, and drug screening test.

- Excellent communication abilities via hand written documents, email, text, and use of other electronic devices provided by the company.

- Ability to lift 50 lbs. Job does not require a great deal of physical strength but does require mobility and ability to work in the weather and environment.

- Ability to work from written SOP(s) and verbal instructions

- Must be able to work flexible hours to accommodate site requirements and ability to respond to Emergency alarms and calls to their assigned sites

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $18.00 - $25.00 per hour
