Wastewater Operator Job at Quad

Quad is seeking to fill a Wastewater Treatment Operator in our Valdosta, GA CR/T location. The ideal candidate will have previous experience working in a dusty warehouse/manufacturing setting and is used to working in hot/cold temperatures.
This position will be responsible for:
- Handling day-to-day operations for Wastewater Treatment (Regulatory with local, federal, and state).
- Handling water for the SPCC (Spill Prevention, Control, and Countermeasures) system.
- Completing Wastewater inspections.
- Completing other housekeeping tasks as needed like pressure washing, painting, and other duties as assigned.
Qualifications
- Highly proficient in the use of computers (email, Microsoft Windows, Word, and Excel).
- Mechanically inclined.
- Prior sit-down forklift experience is required.
- The ability to lift up to 50 pounds, stand, bend, twist, climb and turn through the course of your shift, with or without reasonable accommodation.
- Maintain acceptable job performance and attendance.
- Be able to follow directions and complete tasks on time.
- Demonstrate routine use of PPE at all times.
- Candidate must be able to work 8:00 a.m.-4:30 p.m., M-F.
