The Role: Warehouse Technician

The Location: Colorado Springs, CO

DLS Engineering is seeking a qualified candidate to fill immediate full-time openings as a Warehouse Technician supporting the U.S. Space Force in Colorado Springs, Colorado. The candidate will support the Ground Multi-band Terminal (GMT) Program providing technical and/or and warehouse support services.

A Day in the Life:

• Provide technical and/or warehouse support for GMT program
• Receive, document, track, maintain, store, ship, transport, inventory, dispose supporting equipment
• Interface with Government personnel to order, track and monitor resolution of purchases, repairs, and returns
• Assist with maintenance repair actions
• Assist with program planning and control, contract management, Configuration Management (CM), data management, security, and administrative support to accomplish the GMT-S3 contract performance, financial and schedule objectives, and deliverables
• Assist resolving issues and/or related problems experienced due to incident reports (IRs), receipts, shipments, repairs, OEM, vendors, financial, warehouse equipment, safety, etc.
• Aid with customer helpdesk and IRs, support customer visits and facility tours
• Assist with status reports and review meetings
• Assist with safety and security of personnel, and government and company provided facilities, equipment, information, and IT systems
• Request information from OEMs and vendors about upcoming obsolescence issues
• Identify and implement efficiencies and process improvements
• Strong writing and supply management skills

When I read the below it sounds like me:

• 2 years’ experience providing warehouse support and/or technical support for GMT preferred
• Proficiency in MS Office Suite of products (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
• Proficient in government supply policies, procedures, and IT systems
• Must possess government T-1 investigation prior to employment
• Must be able pass a government background check
• Must be a US Citizen
