WAREHOUSE MAINTENANCE TECHNICIAN

Currently we are recruiting for experienced Warehouse Maintenance Technician to join the Polaris team.

OVERVIEW

The Warehouse Maintenance Technician is responsible for preventive and corrective maintenance to production and support equipment, including medication carts and fax machines. Works from schematics, diagrams, written and verbal descriptions, layouts to perform testing, checkout and trouble-shooting functions. Performs preventive maintenance activities on production and facility support equipment. Maintains all logs and required documentation. Maintains spare parts inventory.

Schedule: Mon - Fri with rotating weekends

RESPONSIBILITIES

· Perform and document preventative and corrective maintenance to production and support equipment

· Develop criteria and performance specifications for facilities and equipment required to meet unique operating requirements

· Maintain all logs and required documentation

· Maintain inventory of spare parts for production and support equipment

· Assist production in the set-up and adjustment of production equipment

· Manage time and resources to complete all work orders in a timely fashion

· Record correct and accurate information on each work order and/or maintenance equipment logs

· Maintain, close, and submit current work orders each week

· Follow all applicable government regulations including HIPAA, FDA, DEA, OSHA, KY BOP, etc.

· Display behavior which exemplifies employee code of conduct guidelines

· Set up and program fax machines at long-term care facilities

· Set up, deliver, and maintain medication carts at long-term care facilities

· Other duties as assigned; Job duties may vary by location.

QUALIFICATIONS

· High School diploma or equivalent required

· Basic knowledge in mechanical trouble-shooting

· Ability to read and follow drawings/schematics

· Basic personal computer skills

· Good time management skills

· Able to read, write, speak, and understand the English language

· Able to work during inclement weather

· Reliable

· Good organization/Attention to detail

· Must be able to work various shifts and days

PHYSICAL DEMANDS

The physical demands described here are representative of those that should be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job:

· May sit or stand seven (7) to ten (10) hours per day

· The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, bend, crouch, walk, crawl intermittently

· May be necessary to work extended hours as needed

· May lift and/or move up to 50 pounds

HOLIDAY & PTO POLICY

We provide qualifying full-time employees with 23 PTO (Paid Time Off) days annually. PTO is used for holidays, vacation, sick leave, and personal leave.

Please note we are a long-term care pharmacy open 24-hours a day, 7 days a week. And schedules may change as determined by the needs of the business.
